I've just managed to finish these 2 mice and a kitty cat before tommorow, now all I have to do is get everything tagged, priced, packed for the early start in the morning!

A rare big bear!

I feel that its important to my creative mojo to step outside the box from time to time and push myself to do something different, for every show I like to have a number of brand new designs and this time I seem to be doing well!
One of my outside the box moments ended up in a large bear, well at 16" its large for me, he's sitting on my bear shelf next to all the little ones and he looks massive, compared to most big bear makers though I guess he's really a tiddler! Anyway here he is, Bilbo who ready and waiting for he debut at Hugglets.

Another brilliant Piece Parade giveaway!

What I've been working on.....

I promise I've been working hard even if the last few months posts seem as if I haven't! Here's a couple of commissions I've recently sent off to new homes.

A while back I said I'd post about the wonderful presents I got for my Birthday (which now seems so long ago! Where does the time go) anyway I was a very lucky girl! Here's just a few of the wonderful things people got me.

Rufus is a hand sculpted doll by Wendy Froud http://www.worldoffroud.com/www/main.cfm(the lady who is responsible for the models in the Dark Crystal and Labyrinth films) I've been a fan of her work for many years and owning a one of a kind doll of hers has been a dream of mine for a long while, I found out earlier in the year she was working with her friend Hazel Brown http://www.faery-art.com/ a very talented artist in a calibration called the Dark Wood Fairies, these faeries come with there own box full of letters, books, magic etc. When I opened this up on my Birthday I was blown away there is so much in his box, dairies, spell books, runes, maps, I could go on, all of these are hand made by Hazel.

Rufus now sits on top of my desk, watching down on me while I work, I'm so very pleased with him.

A Tiffany teddy charm to go on my Tiffany bracelet!

Lex got this when he was in Las Vegas, I was so surprised when her produced the blue Tiffany bag I burst into tears! Which is very unlike me, I'm not much of a crier! Anyway it was beautiful and I love it.

Next my brilliant mates Kim and Chelle got me......

A trip to the Prague Christmas Markets!

I was blown away by this generous gift, we are going for 3 days in December, staying in a 4* hotel and are going to have THE BEST time!

These are just a few of the gifts I received, people where so generous and thoughtful, its still makes me smile now, i have some wonderful people in my life!
