Golden Teddy Awards 2010

This week I've had the most lovely news, my cover star mouse Bon-Bon has been nominated for a GOLDEN TEDDY AWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Golden Teddy Awards are organised by Teddy Bear Review the magazine that featured Bon-Bon on its front cover this year, see this post for more details on that subject.

The standard of entries for these awards is in my opinion outstanding and I'm very proud to have been included with them.

I think this weekend I'll be sure to be celebrating!

One More Bear

Here's the bears and mice I have just finished for One More Bear, they will be available from Tracy's lovely shop towards the end of next week.

So today is "Giveaway Day" and I am happy to say that I have randomly picked a number and therefore a winner. Big Congratulations goes to "T" in the USA your "Maiseybelle" will be on her way to you soon, I will be in touch by email.

This Giveaway has been so much fun, people have been so creative with names and I've loved them all, I've been totally shocked by the amount of people who entered, over 300 and will be sure to do another Giveaway sometime! Thanks so much to all of you that participated and those of you who read by random waffling's!

Back to normal :-(

Well my indulgent week of just bear making is nearly over :-( tomorrow I have to go back to reality and set off to work at 8am. I've had such a good week just concentrating on the business and not having to juggle loads of balls in the air, alas this cannot be life just yet.....one day though :-)

Anyway a few little ones wanted to say "hello" they cannot be fully revealed until they have had their finishing touches but I said it would be fine for them to have a quick peek around!!!!

Working in the sunshine

This week I have taken time off from the "day job" to work solely on the bears/mice, its been wonderful making a bears from start to finish.

My "slightly" cluttered workspace!

I've been sitting in the sunshine with my wounded solider Binky by my side! Binky had to have an operation last week, the poor little fellow has been recovering well however he seems to have learnt how to "milk" it and has me wrapped right around his finger or should I say paw!
